    COCOON is invited to this 12th annual festival, which is held August 29 - September 1, 2008. The 1 Reel Film Festival is part of Bumbershoot, Seattle's Music and Arts Festival which annually draws over 150,000 people to the grounds of the Seattle Center to celebrate the arts. It is considered one of the nation’s best-attended short format festivals in the US, drawing over 20,000 filmgoers, filmmakers and industry members each year.

    We are selected to be screened at the 2008 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films and Film Market, scheduled August 21-27, 2008. This festival is said to be one of the most acclaimed short film showcases in the world, as the winner of CWB's "Seal Of Excellence".

    Our film COCOON is included in their 2008 lineup, August 20 - 23, 2008. This new Washington based festival is an international event with a community focus, open to all filmmakers and artists. Showcasing local, national and international creations. Their objective is combining public screenings in the hart of downtown Washougal with small forums to share in a dialogue and exchange through the powerful language of film and the arts.

    Our entry has been accepted and COCOON will be screened for our audiences during their September 7-14, 2008 film festival. Lakedance expressed their excitement to add our "high-quality" film to the 2008 program, and welcomes us to the list of talented filmmaking teams that have preceded us.
  • Red Rock Film Festival

    We have been granted the keys to the Official Selection of the Red Rock Film Festival. The festival is scheduled November 13-16, 2008. COCOON will play friday 14 Nov 12.30am and Saturday 15 Nov 6.10pm. It is held in Southern Utah beneath the majestic red mountains of Zion National Park and encourages the independent spirit. Their selection consists of films that portray the human race in a positive light, and applauds original works that redefine media through innovation, creativity and sensitivity that both enlightens and educates audiences.
